“Engineers Fight to CAN Hunger”

Under the Umbrella of Let’s Can Hunger, P. Joseph Lehman, Inc. Consulting Engineers has donated $1,665 to support the cause this year. Jim Frank, Client Services Director, presented the donation. The firm held fundraising activities and followed Lauren Lehman’s lead again this year during her 11th annual Birthday Food Drive and as a team, helped her to collect $1,115 and a truckload of food for the Dorothy Day Outreach Center and an additional $550 for the American Rescue Workers.

Joseph Lehman, Jr. – Celebrating 30 Years!

As of January 10th, Joseph Lehman, Jr. celebrated his 30th Anniversary with P. Joseph Lehman, Inc., Consulting Engineers. Joe has been with P. Joseph Lehman, Inc. where he has served as President for the past 18 years.  He is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and eight surrounding states and is also a Certified Bridge Safety Inspector.

Lehman’s Chantal Sisko Earns Asbestos Inspection License

P. JOSEPH LEHMAN, Inc., Consulting Engineers is very pleased to announce that Environmental Scientist Chantal Sisko is now a certified Asbestos Inspector in Pennsylvania. Sisko recently completed the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry’s specialized training for the handling of asbestos-containing materials. As a licensed expert, she’ll be responsible for evaluating and assessing the potential presence, quantity, and location of hazardous asbestos-containing materials in a building or on a construction site.

Welcome Beverly Green as Utility Assistant

P. JOSEPH LEHMAN, Inc., is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Beverly Green as its new Utility Assistant. Beverly, of Altoona, will be supporting Lehman’s utility coordination efforts in areas of proposed construction.

Beverly brings 34 years of experience in the electric utility industry as an External Affairs Manager with FirstEnergy Corp-Penelec. She also has served on and chaired numerous business community boards throughout Blair, Bedford, and Huntingdon Counties, including the Blair County Chamber of Commerce,

Association of Pennsylvania Constructors’ (APC) Annual Fall Seminar

P. Joseph Lehman, Inc. Consulting Engineers was one of the many exhibitors at the Association of Pennsylvania Constructors’ (APC) Annual Fall Seminar in Hershey from November 16th – 18th.   APC is a trade association that unites hundreds of members including prime and subcontractors, consulting engineers, material suppliers, manufacturers, and others with an interest in Pennsylvania’s road and bridge construction industry.  The event also hosted representatives from PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Annual Roadway Management Conference

Jim Frank and Marty Malone, of Lehman’s Client Services Department, are attending, exhibiting and presenting at the annual Roadway Management Conference being held in Wheeling, West Virginia.  Jim and Marty will be participating all week.  The conference attracts transportation officials at the state and local level from five states.

Lehman’s Exhibitor at Blair County Association of Township Officials Annual Convention

Lehman Engineers recently participated as an exhibitor at the Blair County Association of Township Officials Annual Convention. The event – which brings together supervisors and other officials from the County’s 15 townships – was held at the Blair County Convention Center on September 26th. Client Services Director, Marty Malone, was among our staff to attend the Convention.

LEHMAN ENGINEERS HORSE TRAIL RIDE AND TRAIL WALK TO BENEFIT DREAMS GO ON

On Sunday, October 2, 2022, the 16th Annual Lehman Engineers Horse Trail Ride and Trail Walk to benefit Dreams Go On, a non-profit therapeutic horseback riding organization, will take place at Canoe Creek State Park. This unique event brings horse back riders and trail walking enthusiasts together for a great cause. Dreams Go On provides therapeutic horseback riding sessions to children and young adults in Blair County, PA.

The 2022 Dreams Go On Goodwill Ambassador is Elliott Sheetz.
