On Sunday, October 2, 2022, the 16th Annual Lehman Engineers Horse Trail Ride and Trail Walk was held to benefit Dreams Go On, which provides therapeutic horseback riding sessions to children and young adults in Blair County, PA. This event took place at Canoe Creek State Park and is a unique event which brings horse and trail walking enthusiasts together for a great cause.

The Leadership Blair County Class of 2023, which included Tammie Fleck, Office Manager, presented a check to the Booker T. Washington Revitalization Project this morning! Through their Casino-Themed 200 Club fundraiser and other donations, the class was able to donate over $30,000 for a new park in the Garden Heights area. This donation was made possible by many donors within our community and P. JOSEPH LEHMAN, Inc. was one of them!

Casalvieri, of Altoona, will be providing advanced capabilities in project design and plan development in the company’s bridge design department. Her new responsibilities will also include an increased supervisory role on projects, as well as marketing to clients.
Becky is a Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) with 34 years of engineering industry experience and has been with Lehman Engineers for the past 6 years preparing AutoCAD and MicroStation drawings for projects with her advanced capabilities in design and plan development.

Smith, of Logan Township, Blair County, is now a Lead Project Manager in the company’s bridge design department. His new responsibilities will also include an increased role in marketing to clients and participating in the direction and management of the company.
Bill is a Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) with 34 years of engineering industry experience and has been with Lehman Engineers providing structural design on various highway and bridge projects for 25 years.
We are proud to announce that Kaitlyn Link is the 2023 recipient of the “P. Joseph Lehman, Sr. Memorial Scholarship in Engineering for Women Endowment Fund”. The goal of this permanent endowment scholarship is helping and encouraging young women in our community to enter the engineering field. Danielle Mueller, our summer intern, was the recipient last year.

Congratulations to Cody Becker for being chosen as one of three recipients of the 2023 Bill Wilson Scholarship Award at the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE). The Altoona Section annual awards night banquet was held on May 17th. The event was held at the Blairmont Club in Hollidaysburg.

Under the Umbrella of Let’s Can Hunger, P. Joseph Lehman, Inc. Consulting Engineers has donated $1,665 to support the cause this year. Jim Frank, Client Services Director, presented the donation. The firm held fundraising activities and followed Lauren Lehman’s lead again this year during her 11th annual Birthday Food Drive and as a team, helped her to collect $1,115 and a truckload of food for the Dorothy Day Outreach Center and an additional $550 for the American Rescue Workers.
