18th Annual Lehman’s Horse Trail Ride and Trail Walk
The Annual Lehman’s Horse Trail Ride and Trail Walk was featured in the Saturday-Sunday Altoona Mirror of the Community Section. The article highlighted the annual walk and last year’s total of $40,000.00!
The 18th Annual Lehman’s Horse Trail Ride and Trail Walk will be held again this year on Sunday, September 29, 2024. The event is held at Canoe Creek State Park, PA. Many register, bring and ride their horses and/or walk a separate trail, all to raise money for Dreams Go On, who provides therapeutic riding for mentally and physically disadvantaged children and adults.
The event kicks off at 9AM and includes not only the ride and walk but also a basket auction, 50/50 raffles, crafts and activities for kids, and a delicious chicken barbecue lunch, with all the fixings.
