Bedford County's Colvin Covered Bridge

 

The Bedford County Colvin Covered Bridge major rehabilitation project is complete.

The Bedford County Commissioners, Norma Ickes, Dick Rice and Gary Ebersole held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the opening of the historic covered bridge on Saturday, June 20, 1998.  Joining the Commissioners were representatives of PennDOT, Rep. Dick Hess, the Bedford County Covered Bridge Society, P. Joseph Lehman, Inc., Kee-Ta Quay Construction, Shawnee State Park, the Covered Bridge Inn, and the Colvin family.
